About the Role
n
As part of our nursing team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and support to their families.
n
Your day-to-day will include:
n
n
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations, examinations and procedures
n
- Providing high-quality surgical and hospital nursing care
n
- Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patients throughout surgery
n
- Delivering pre- and post-operative patient care
n
- Administering medications and preparing treatments
n
- Managing patient admissions and discharges
n
- Communicating treatment plans and patient updates with clients
n
- Blood collection, pathology testing and IV catheter placement
n
- Assisting with diagnostic imaging including X-rays and ultrasound
n
- Supporting dental procedures, including scale and polish and dental radiography
n
- Providing compassionate care during challenging and end-of-life situations
n
- Working collaboratively to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
n
- Helping maintain the smooth day-to-day running of our busy hospital
n
n
About You
n
You're an experienced Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Veterinary Nurse
n
- Strong medical and surgical nursing skills
n
- Confidence monitoring anaesthesia
n
- Excellent patient handling and nursing care
n
- Great communication and client service skills
n
- The ability to stay calm, organised and proactive in a busy hospital
n
- A genuine passion for animal welfare
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to support your teammates
n
