As our workload continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an ongoing position supporting our current and future residential construction, renovation and landscaping projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Bricklayer to undertake bricklaying, blocklaying and masonry work across a range of residential construction and landscaping projects.

Working alongside our existing carpentry and construction team, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and finishing brick, block and masonry structures in accordance with construction plans, drawings, specifications and project requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

- Bricklaying, paving (mortar and sand base), stone laying and retaining walls
- Demonstrated professional experience in bricklaying, blocklaying and masonry construction is essential
- Experience with paving, stone laying and retaining walls will be highly regarded
- Working from plans and drawings with minimal supervision
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship on every job
- Reading and interpreting architectural, engineering and construction drawings and specifications
- Measuring and setting out brickwork in accordance with plans and site requirements
- Preparing foundations, bases and bedding courses for brick and block construction
- Spreading mortar and laying bricks and blocks accurately and efficiently




- Cutting and shaping bricks and blocks to required dimensions
- Constructing retaining walls and other masonry structures
- Preparing bases and laying brick and segmental paving where required
- Repairing and maintaining existing brickwork, cement blocks and other masonry structures
- Confirming vertical and horizontal alignment throughout construction
- Using bricklaying and masonry tools, equipment and machinery safely and effectively
- Working cooperatively with the Company's carpentry team and other trades on site

What We're Looking For

- A relevant recognised trade qualification in bricklaying/blocklaying, or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience
- Demonstrated professional experience in residential and/or commercial bricklaying and masonry construction
- Strong practical knowledge of bricklaying, blocklaying, masonry construction and repair
- Ability to accurately read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and ability to work effectively with other trades
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Experience with residential renovations, retaining walls, paving and other masonry or landscaping related construction work will be highly regarded.
