Role Description:

Business Analyst

Location: Perth

Salary: AUD 90,243– 98,861 Annual Gross

Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 3-5 years of proven experience to bridge the gap between business needs and technical/operational solutions. The ideal candidate will be strong in documentation,



stakeholder coordination, requirement gathering, and project planning, ensuring that business requirements are clearly captured, communicated, and translated into actionable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering

- Conduct structured meetings, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders to elicit business requirements.
- Analyze and translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Validate requirements with stakeholders and obtain formal sign-off before execution begins.

Documentation

- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
- Maintain organized, version-controlled documentation across all project phases.
- Draft meeting minutes, status reports, and process manuals for internal and client use.

Coordination

- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations, and vendors) to ensure alignment on deliverables.
- Facilitate communication across teams to resolve gaps, dependencies, and conflicting priorities.
- Organize and lead review meetings, walkthroughs, and status update calls.

Planning & Execution

- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking of milestones and deliverables.
- Support the creation of project roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues,



and escalate or mitigate proactively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong documentation skills with experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
- Good working knowledge of requirement gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and teams effectively.
- Working knowledge of project planning and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Visio, and a task/ticket tracking tool (e.g., JIRA or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum ways of working.
- Basic exposure to SQL or data analysis is an added advantage.
