About the role The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing client relationships and identifying opportunities across civil construction, utilities, infrastructure, councils, government, commercial construction and related industries. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on building relationships, generating opportunities and growing Dynamic's presence across Sydney and surrounding regions. The expectation is that the successful candidate will spend the majority of their working day on the road meeting clients, visiting sites, developing relationships and actively creating work opportunities for the business.

Administrative work and internal meetings will be completed from the Penrith office.

Key responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities across Sydney and surrounding NSW regions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, engineers, supervisors, councils, utilities and infrastructure clients
- Conduct regular face-to-face client meetings and site visits
- Promote Dynamic's complete range of services and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Develop new accounts while maintaining and growing existing client relationships
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered
- Follow up quotations, tenders, project opportunities and active leads
- Maintain an active pipeline of upcoming works and projects
- Monitor construction and infrastructure activity across the region
- Utilise industry intelligence platforms, including BCI,



to identify upcoming projects and decision-makers

About you

- Strong business development or account management experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence dealing with project managers, supervisors, engineers and senior management
- A proactive approach to generating new business
- Strong follow-up and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify genuine opportunities
- The ability to work independently and manage your own territory
- A strong understanding of the Sydney construction and infrastructure market
- A current Australian driver licence
- Experience within one or more of the following sectors: civil construction, utilities, infrastructure, hydro excavation, plumbing or drainage, construction services, waste or environmental services, equipment hire, transport, or government or council contracting
