Help more people experience Quality Built Care
At QB Care, the experience is different. We believe great support starts with understanding people. We take the time to listen, build relationships, and learn what matters to each person before building supports around their goals, preferences, and lifestyle.
Listening comes first. It always has.
That approach has helped us build something we’re incredibly proud of. A service where participants feel heard, families feel supported, staff feel valued, and Support Coordinators, allied health professionals, and referral partners have confidence in the quality, communication, and information we provide. Whether it’s a phone call, a service update, or complex supporting evidence, people know they can rely on us to be responsive, thorough, and easy to work with.
QB Care specialises in Supported Independent Living (SIL) for adults with high physical support and complex care needs. We believe quality support starts with consistency. Consistent staff. Consistent routines. Consistent communication.
Combined with in-house clinical oversight and a genuine commitment to understanding each individual, this allows us to provide responsive, personalised support trusted by participants, families, and the professionals working alongside them.
We’re now looking for an experienced leader who can strengthen our market position, build the right partnerships, and help more people experience Quality Built Care.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director and General Manager, you’ll take a leading role in shaping and delivering QB Care’s growth strategy across South Australia. Your focus will be developing strategic partnerships and referral pathways that connect QB Care with participants whose needs align with our service model and areas of expertise.
This is a senior, relationship-led role with genuine influence across business development, referrals, market positioning, brand, and marketing. You’ll work closely with our leadership, operational, and clinical teams to ensure each opportunity is commercially sound, operationally suitable, and right for the people we support.
This isn’t a traditional sales role. We’re looking for someone who understands the market, builds credibility, and knows how to turn trusted relationships into sustainable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead QB Care’s business development and strategic partnerships strategy
- Drive sustainable referral growth by developing strategic relationships and referral pathways that connect QB Care with participants who align with our service model and areas of expertise
- Build senior-level relationships across disability, health, hospitals, allied health, aged care, government, and community sectors
- Identify and assess new markets, partnerships, and service opportunities
- Lead the strategic promotion of QB Care’s SIL services and vacancies
- Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to the Director and General Manager
- Provide strategic oversight of QB Care’s brand, digital presence, and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational growth objectives and market positioning
- Represent QB Care at industry events, conferences, expos, and stakeholder meetings
- Monitor market trends, sector developments, referral activity, and emerging opportunities
- Maintain clear reporting on partnerships, referrals, opportunities, and outcomes
- Work with operational and clinical leaders to support considered, sustainable growth
About You
You’re an experienced relationship builder with strong commercial judgement and the confidence to represent QB Care at a senior level. You can move comfortably between strategy and delivery. You know how to identify genuine opportunities, engage decision-makers, and turn trusted relationships into lasting partnerships and suitable referrals.
You also understand that success isn’t measured by referral numbers alone. The right fit matters. You’ll take the time to understand QB Care’s capabilities and pursue opportunities that align with our service model, expertise, and commitment to quality.
What You’ll Bring
- Significant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, or a comparable senior role
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering growth strategies
- A track record of building referral pathways and converting opportunities into measurable outcomes
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to assess the suitability of new opportunities
- Established networks within disability, health, hospitals, allied health, aged care, government, or community services
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS and Supported Independent Living environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- The ability to provide strategic direction across brand, marketing, and digital initiatives
- An organised, accountable, and self-directed approach
- Current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Worker Check, and the ability to meet all compliance, screening, licensing, and clearance requirements relevant to the role, as determined by QB Care’s Compliance Team
Why Join QB Care?
This is an opportunity to influence the next stage of QB Care’s growth. You’ll work directly with the Director and General Manager, contribute to strategic decisions, and take genuine ownership of business development, partnerships, referrals, and market presence.
We value people who bring ideas, take responsibility, and follow through. You’ll have the scope to make the role your own, backed by an experienced leadership, operational, and clinical team.
Most importantly, you’ll represent an organisation with a clear purpose and a genuine commitment to doing things differently.
