The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our Enterprise Risk, Health, Safety, Legal & Governance team. In this pivotal administrative role, you will provide professional, confidential and timely support across a diverse portfolio that includes legal services, governance, risk management and workplace health and safety activities.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in ensuring administrative processes run smoothly, documentation is managed accurately, and key governance and legal activities are supported effectively.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, managing competing priorities and contributing to important organisational outcomes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline or hold an equivalent combination of contemporary experience coupled with education/training relevant to the inherent requirements of the role. You will have contemporary industry knowledge and demonstrated experience in the delivery of administrative support to a multidisciplinary team and experience working within a fast paced setting.
In addition to the above, you will also have superior communication and stakeholder engagement skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and maintain a high attention to detail.
Experience working with generalist WHS, risk, legal or governance environments would be highly regarded.
Benefits
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, working a 35-hour week, with a base salary range of $80,583 - $89,448 per year + 12% super. Council also offers a range of other benefits for its employees, including:
