Coffee Code is looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic Cafe All-Rounder to join our team in Nedlands, located next to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
We are a busy café with fast-paced morning and lunch rushes, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can stay organised under pressure and is happy to help wherever needed.
About the Role
This is a casual position, generally 1–2 days per week, with shifts of approximately 5 hours or more between 6:00am and 4:30pm.
Weekday availability is important, with some weekend shifts available.
Your Responsibilities
- Taking customer orders and operating the POS
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Basic food preparation
- Preparing and toasting sandwiches and wraps
- Running food and assisting with dine-in service
- Cleaning and maintaining a tidy work environment
- Restocking food, drinks and supplies
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Supporting the barista and coffee service during busy periods
- Working efficiently as part of the team during morning and lunch rushes
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, positive and confident with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- Previous café or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential
- Barista experience is not required, although it would be an advantage
- Available for at least 1–2 shifts per week
Training will be provided, so we also welcome applicants who may not have extensive café experience but have the right attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn. If you enjoy working in a busy café environment and providing great service, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay: $26.44 – $42.38 per hour
