We’re looking for a passionate Casual Commis Chef or Demi Chef to join our kitchen team.

The Role

Working alongside our experienced chefs, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, qualified kitchen where quality and attention to detail are everything.

You’ll be responsible for

- Supporting the kitchen team with preparation and service across your section.
- Preparing and presenting dishes consistently to Sushi Room’s high standards.
- Working with premium, fresh ingredients and produce.
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver a smooth and successful service.

About You We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef
- Is passionate about food, quality produce and developing their skills.
- Works well in a busy,



high-performing kitchen environment.
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Is reliable, organised and brings a positive attitude to the team.
- Has full working rights in Australia.

Experience in Japanese cuisine or premium dining would be highly regarded, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
