About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Manager, Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory to join the Central Coast Local Health District Pharmacy Department. This key leadership role is responsible for pharmaceutical procurement, inventory management and supply-chain performance, ensuring reliable access to medicines while optimising financial outcomes and managing organisational risk.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Lead pharmaceutical procurement, inventory and supply-chain operations across the CCLHD Pharmacy Department.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise expenditure, achieve financial targets and identify cost-saving and revenue opportunities.
- Lead supplier negotiations, forecasting, trend analysis and procurement initiatives to improve value, efficiency and continuity of supply.
- Manage legislative, contractual, financial and operational compliance and risk, including medicine shortages, recalls and safety issues.
- Lead and develop the Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory Team, supporting performance, capability, teamwork and high-quality service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy Leadership Team and key internal and external stakeholders to drive service improvement, quality use of medicines and strategic priorities.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has advanced knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical procurement, stock control,



inventory management and supply-chain operations.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills, including team development, performance management, education and building a positive team culture.
- Has demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor operational, financial and performance strategies and achieve defined targets.
- Possesses highly developed analytical, forecasting and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for efficiency, savings and improvement.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and influence outcomes.
Uses initiative, sound judgement and advanced digital skills to manage competing priorities, mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement in a complex healthcare environment.
