About the Role

As Centre Director, you will lead our Campbelltown Centre and play an important role in shaping its culture, reputation, team and future growth.

Being a relatively new centre, there is huge opportunity to build and grow.

You will have the freedom to bring your leadership style, ideas and energy to the centre while being supported by Emali’s wider leadership team and established systems.

The centre features beautiful, purpose-built learning environments, expansive spaces and an in-built sensory room, providing an exciting foundation for high-quality learning and development.

You’ll be responsible for

- Leading, inspiring and developing a passionate team
- Building strong and genuine relationships with children and families
- Growing the centre’s reputation and connection within the local community
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging centre culture
- Supporting educators to deliver high-quality learning and care
- Driving quality improvement and strong outcomes for children
- Ensuring compliance with the NQF, NQS, EYLF and all relevant legislation
- Maintaining a strong focus on child safety, wellbeing and safeguarding
- Managing centre operations while remaining a visible and hands-on leader

Child Safety Is a Paramount Consideration At Emali, the safety, wellbeing and protection of children is a paramount consideration in everything we do.

We are looking for a leader who understands that child safety is embedded in everyday leadership, decision-making and centre practices, not simply a compliance requirement.

You will lead with a strong child-safe mindset, ensuring active supervision, safe practices, appropriate educator behaviours and strong safeguarding practices are consistently upheld.

You will be confident holding yourself and others accountable to our child safety expectations and creating an environment where children are safe, heard, respected and protected.

What You'll Bring

- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education & Care (ACECQA approved)
- Robust knowledge of EYLF, NQS and the Assessment & Rating process
- Proven leadership experience within early childhood




- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to mentor, coach and develop educators
- Confidence with technology and systems, including Microsoft Office and Xplor
- A genuine passion for quality early learning and leadership
- A strong understanding of child safety and safeguarding responsibilities
