Catercare is seeking a professional chef who specialises in cakes, pastries and sweets in an Aged Care setting

What You Will Do

- Ensuring high quality meals are ready for the community
- Understands diabetic-friendly, low-sugar, texture-modified, and allergen-specific baking requirements.
- Manage the kitchen production with total efficiency and speed
- Maintain elite food safety and hygiene standards
- Provide warm and professional service to residents and staff
- Assist with prep to set the kitchen up for the week ahead

Desired Skills And Experience The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
- Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
- Strong communication skills
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
