Daily Continental (formally Black Bird Coffee House) is a busy, independently owned cafe and deli in Tanunda, Barossa Valley offering quality coffee, breakfast and deli style sandwiches and food.
We’re looking for an experienced Chef or Cook to join our small team. This is a hands-on daytime role suited to someone who is organised, reliable and confident working independently in a fast paced cafe kitchen.
The role includes
- Preparing and serving breakfast and lunch dishes
- Sandwich, toastie and sweet cabinet food preparation
- Daily food prep and stock management
- Maintaining quality, consistency and presentation
- Food safety, cleaning and kitchen organisation
- Helping refine a streamlined, productive cafe and deli menu
Previous kitchen experience is ideal. Chef qualifications are welcome but not required for an experienced and capable cook. Daytime hours (7/8am to 2/3pm) across Wednesday to Sunday with one regular weekend day availability required.
