About the Position

We are seeking a passionate, qualified and experienced Full time Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will have strong cooking and food preparation skills and be able to work efficiently in a busy commercial kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Prepare meals for regular customers and catering orders, including Biryani.
- Carry out food preparation, including cutting, portioning, marinating and seasoning ingredients.
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
- Ensure all food is prepared, stored and handled in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Conduct stocktakes and assist with inventory management and ordering.
- Train, supervise and support kitchen staff as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
- Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) and food safety procedures.




- Minimise food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.

Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant chef experience.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred.
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary $79,000 – $85,000 per annum, depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
