The Position Launch Housing is seeking a strategic and values-led executive to lead partnerships, engagement, fundraising, communications and advocacy in support of its mission to end homelessness. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Chief Officer, Partnerships and Engagement oversees all brand communications, marketing, philanthropy, partnership and advocacy engagement activities at Launch Housing and leads on all aspects of Launch Housing’s public engagement. This dynamic role oversees relationship management with key stakeholders, including donors, supporters and corporate partners.
This role involves developing and implementing strategies to engage supporters, secure funding, and ensure alignment between Launch Housing’s mission and its partners’ values.
The role develops and delivers a compelling organisation narrative that connects with audiences and drives both change and revenue growth.
The Chief Officer
Partnerships and Engagement plays a crucial part in raising the charity’s profile, advocating for its cause, positioning the brand as a leading voice in housing and ending homelessness, and building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. This role is a key member of the Executive Team to ensure that engagement efforts are impactful, sustainable, and contribute to Launch Housing’s overall mission and strategic plan.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished and values-led senior executive with experience operating in a complex setting and leading high-performing teams of senior leaders. You will bring qualifications in business, marketing or a related human-centred discipline, together with deep expertise across brand, marketing, fundraising, advocacy, partnerships and stakeholder engagement. You will demonstrate a strong track record in shaping compelling organisational narratives, building trusted relationships with diverse audiences, and delivering integrated multi-channel campaigns that achieve measurable outcomes.
Commercially and financially astute, you will be experienced in managing people, resources and confident engaging with staff, clients and renters, funders, government, philanthropists, private enterprise and the broader community. With exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will be motivated by Launch Housing’s mission to end homelessness and aligned with its values. An understanding of the housing and homelessness context, including relevant systems, trends and solutions, will be highly regarded.
