Position Number: various Location: Queanbeyan The Package: $1,221.10 - $1,349.36 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 4 of the QPRC Salary System 2026) and Award increases of 4% in 2027-28 and 4% in 2028-2029.
Full-time – 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply.
Are you passionate about keeping our CBD, public spaces, and community facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone?
In this role you will:
· Perform daily scheduled cleaning and sanitising of public toilets, changerooms, BBQs, and town centre amenities.
· Maintain CBD streetscape presentation through pressure washing, graffiti removal, waste collection, and hazard management (including biohazards and sharps).
· Safely operate and perform pre-start checks on specialist cleaning plant, pressure cleaners, and utility vehicles while maintaining pedestrian safety.
We are looking for someone who:
· Brings practical experience in commercial cleaning, sanitation, or public space maintenance.
· Holds a current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction (White Card), with basic computer/mobile device skills.
· Is reliable, safety-focused, and communicates effectively to deliver great customer service while managing daily priorities.
