We are seeking Civil Labourers and Trade Assistants to join our team in Glanville, SA 5015. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse engineering and construction projects. As a Civil Labourer or Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction teams, ensuring project efficiency, safety, and quality workmanship.
This hands-on role is essential to the successful delivery of our projects and contributes directly to our reputation for excellence in the trades and services sector.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining work areas, including site setup, cleanup and waste management
- Transporting and positioning materials, tools and equipment safely
- Maintaining health, safety and environmental standards on site
- Following all site procedures, risk management protocols and safety guidelines
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members
- Performing general labouring duties as directed by site supervisors
- Confined spaces, working at heights and EWP tickets is an advantage but not essential.
What we're looking for
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in engineering and construction trades
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance on site
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous experience in construction, engineering, or related labouring roles is desirable but not essential
- Valid driver's licence is advantageous
- Willingness to obtain relevant site inductions and certifications
- Willingness to work overtime
