SPS Facilities is seeking a reliable and caring Cleaner to join our team at a local kindergarten.
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment for children, staff and families.
Position Details
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Total Hours: 12.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, learning and activity areas.
- Clean and sanitise children's bathrooms and staff amenities.
- Vacuum and mop all allocated floor areas.
- Dust furniture, ledges and accessible surfaces.
- Clean kitchens and staff areas.
- Empty bins and replace liners.
- Sanitise high-touch surfaces including tables, chairs, door handles and switches.
- Spot clean internal glass and entrance areas as required.
- Maintain high presentation and hygiene standards throughout the kindergarten.
- Complete scheduled detailed cleaning tasks every Friday.
- Report maintenance,
safety or hygiene concerns to management.
Requirements
- Current Blue Card – Essential
- Police Check – Preferred
- Driver's licence and reliable transport – Preferred
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Robust attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
