The Firm

This is one of Perth's most progressive medium-sized accounting firms, with a modern approach to public practice that extends well beyond the technology it uses. The practice operates in a fully cloud-based, paperless environment, with systems and processes designed to make the way people work faster, smarter and more collaborative.

Led by Directors with top-tier backgrounds and a strong appetite for innovation, the firm has created an environment where ideas are encouraged, technology is embraced and people are trusted to find better ways of working. Staff turnover is exceptionally low, which says plenty about the culture and the way people are treated.

It's an agile, forward-thinking practice where high standards and a personable working workplace sit comfortably alongside each other.

The Opportunity

As a Client Services Administrator, you'll sit at the centre of the firm's client service and day-to-day operations. You'll be the person connecting clients, Directors and accountants, keeping workflow moving and making sure the details behind the scenes are handled properly.

This is not a role focused purely on ticking boxes. You'll have the opportunity to identify inefficiencies, spot gaps before they become problems and contribute to better ways of working across the practice.

Working closely with Directors and senior accountants, you'll provide the operational support that allows the broader team to stay focused on delivering high-quality advice to their clients.

It's particularly well suited to someone who likes being the person others rely on, enjoys bringing structure to complexity and takes pride in finding ways to make things work better.

Your Role Will Include:

- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, managing communications and delivering a consistently professional experience
- Maintaining accurate client records and workflow systems, ensuring information is organised and up to date
- Managing ATO and ASIC corporate compliance,

including lodgements and ongoing compliance requirements
- Coordinating client information, documentation and workflow to keep matters progressing efficiently
- Working closely with Directors and accountants across a range of client and practice administration requirements
- Be hand-ons in the operations of the practice, identifying process gaps and opportunities to improve the way the practice runs
- Supporting the implementation of technology and smarter systems to improve efficiency across the business

About You *Previous experience in an administration or client services role within an Australian public practice accounting firm is non-negotiable. You will need this experience to be considered for the position.

Beyond that, we're looking for someone who isn't interested in another administration role where responsibilities begin and end with a checklist. You want to be trusted, involved and part of a business that is continually looking for a better way forward.

You'll be detail-focused, proactive and highly organised, with the confidence to take ownership and communicate effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.

We're seeking someone with

- Previous administration or client services experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Familiarity with platforms such as Xero, FYI, HandiSoft or BGL CAS360 will be highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- A natural interest in technology,

process improvement and finding more efficient ways to work

What's In It For You

- Flexibility with adjustable hours and WFH available each week
- Stability within a permanent role in a highly established, low-turnover practice
- Modern technology with fully cloud-based systems and a paperless working environment
- Recognition through bi-annual salary reviews, overtime pay and time-in-lieu options and personal performance bonuses for all staff
- Growth with the opportunity to broaden your responsibilities and work more closely with leadership
- Location in a central Perth office with excellent transport links and parking available

Additional Opportunities Alongside this position, I am currently working on a number of opportunities across accounting and financial services, including Client Services, Practice Management, Office Management and broader practice operations roles.

Some of these positions are not advertised publicly, so if you're considering your next move but aren't sure exactly what you're looking for, a confidential conversation can often be the best place to start.

I'm happy to talk through what's happening in the market, the types of firms I'm working with and where your experience could potentially take you next. Nothing is presented to a prospective employer without your agreement.
