DMHP is a division of headspace National that provides online (webchat, email and telehealth) and phone support to young people and families across Australia.

The strategic vision of DMHP is to enable a connected headspace experience, so young people, families and communities can access the right support, when they need it, how they want it. To achieve this vision, DMHP aims to position its service structure and orientation, so it digitally complements and connects the experiences of young people across all parts of headspace, including and primarily with the National headspace centre networks.

what you'll do As the Clinical Manager - Digital Mental Health Programs, you will be responsible for providing service delivery leadership, and oversight of quality, risk and safety across all of DMHP.



The position will report to the Head of DMHP and work closely with the Operations Manager - DMHP to ensure the efficient and successful operations of DMHP.

Working in this role, you will:

- Provide clinical leadership and direction to DMHP, ensuring all teams deliver safe and quality care in line with evidence base, clinical governance, policies and frameworks.
- Uphold the National Safety and Quality of Digital Mental Health Standards.
- Provide line management, consultation, clinical escalation, and supervision to DMH Program Managers and divisional support functions.
- Work in partnership with headspace National's First Nations Wellbeing and Engagement (FNWE) Division, to advocate for the valuing of First Nations approaches to care, healing, and wellbeing in the appropriate delivery of services to First Nations young people.
- Collaborate with the FNWE division to adapt and/or redevelop and implement First Nations specific approaches to care through the development of resources, training, cultural supervision, reflective practice and other approaches. Identify and manage risks to the service or workforce.
- Lead division wide continuous quality improvement activities.
- Support the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of service initiatives and required change management.
- As part of the DMHP leadership team, drive DMHP strategy, integration, innovation and service development.

what you'll bring To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline including social work, psychology, mental health nursing, and occupational therapy. Eligibility for membership of an appropriate professional body is required. Social workers are required to be eligible for full membership with AASW. Psychologists, mental health nurses,



and occupational therapists are required to have full registration with AHPRA.
- Minium 8 years' experience in leadership or management of services demonstrating achievement of KPI's and contract deliverables.
- Significant experience providing direct clinical support within a youth mental health setting and demonstrated understanding and commitment to youth mental health and early intervention principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- Exceptional skills in the delivery of workforce development, leading continuous quality improvement initiatives, professional capacity building and performance management.
- A commitment to interpreting and utilising qualitative and quantitative data to inform and refine best practises.
- Highly motivated with exceptional leadership, project management, and program management skills.
