Clinical Midwife - Midwifery Group Practice Annualised:
The Caseload Midwife provides continuity of care to a dedicated caseload up to 30 women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and up to six weeks postnatally, delivering high quality, woman-centred care. We have positions available across TCHHS. Working collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners, health workers, medical officers, and allied health professionals, the role promotes culturally safe practice, health education, and positive maternal and family outcomes.
The position supports publicly endorsed midwives and also supports and mentors early career midwives and midwifery students within a dynamic and growing birthing service.
Clinical Midwife - Core:
The Clinical Midwife provides advanced clinical leadership and woman-centred maternity care, supporting positive health outcomes for women and their communities across the continuum of pregnancy, labour, birth, and up to six weeks postnatally. Working collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners, health workers, MGP midwives, medical officers, and allied health professionals, they deliver culturally protected, high quality care, health promotion, and education to women and families across the Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula Area.
The position supports publicly endorsed midwives and also supports and mentors early career midwives and midwifery students within a dynamic and growing birthing.

- Base salary comprising between $114,532.00 - $122,643.00 per annum OR $4,390.00 - $4,700.90 per fortnight
