Join the Cancer Care team at Nepean Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and provide specialist leadership in Bone Marrow Transplant care.
In this highly rewarding role, you will provide advanced clinical guidance and support to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals managing complex bone marrow transplant needs,
while contributing to exceptional patient outcomes across the continuum of care.
Beyond direct clinical care, you will play a key role in overseeing bone marrow transplant services, ensuring the safe collection, preservation and administration of haematopoietic progenitor cells in line with national accreditation and clinical practice standards.

- Current registration with AHPRA - Division 1 Registered Nurse
- Minimum five years full time equivalent post qualification experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in Hematology, BMT and Apheresis nursing and relevant post graduate qualifications
- Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework
- Proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the utilisation of evidence based research
- Demonstrated skills in strategic and clinical service planning including an understanding of organisational behavior, change management and cultural change processes
- Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and experience in the development of specialty education programs
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in patient-centred consultancy with the ability to work independently
- A current NSW drivers licence and willingness to use same as required for the position
