Foundations Perinatal and Child Psychology Centre is a growing clinical psychology practice in East Brisbane, specialising in psychological therapy for individuals and families through the perinatal period and early years of family life.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in a contractor capacity. This is an exciting prospect for a clinician who is passionate about working with perinatal populations, parents, young families and children, and who values high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based care.

About the role

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, with a particular focus on:

Perinatal mental health, including perinatal OCD, anxiety disorders and mood disorders

Postnatal adjustment and emotional wellbeing

Parenting support and parent-child relationships

Children presenting with OCD, anxiety disorders, behavioural and attachment challenges.

The role offers flexibility and autonomy as a contractor, within a collaborative practice environment where clinicians are supported in their professional development and clinical work.

About you

We are looking for a clinician who:

Is a Clinical Psychologist with appropriate AHPRA registration

Is grounded in strong clinical skills with the ability to draw on a range of treatment approaches

Values ongoing learning, professional development and reflective practice

Has experience working with perinatal clients, parents and/or young families

Has a genuine interest in supporting parents and children through the early stages of family life

Is confident working independently while also enjoying collaboration and peer connection

Brings warmth, empathy and a thoughtful approach to clinical practice
