Working within our busy production team, you will be responsible for the accurate folding and forming of a variety of aluminium and steel components used in the manufacture of specialised vehicle bodies.
Key responsibilities
- Operating CNC brake press machinery safely and efficiently
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
- Setting up tooling and machine programs for various jobs
- Producing components to precise specifications and tolerances
- Conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Working collaboratively with fabrication, welding and assembly teams
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
About you
- Previous experience operating CNC brake press machinery
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience within the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry will be highly regarded
