We're looking for an Australian-qualified lawyer with 4-6 years' post-admission experience to join our Legal & Compliance team.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the business and working across a broad range of matters. You'll be just as comfortable negotiating a commercial agreement as you are helping shape an approach to a new partnership, supporting a research collaboration, improving internal processes or contributing to a strategic project.

You'll thrive if you're pragmatic, adaptable and commercially minded. You'll enjoy the pace and variety that comes with a growing company and take a practical approach to helping teams achieve outcomes while managing risk.

- Australian-qualified lawyer with approximately 4-6 years' post-admission experience.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, either in-house or in private practice.
- Sound commercial judgement and a practical approach to problem solving.
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and managing matters independently.
- Able to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving workplace where priorities can change quickly.

- Defence, government or highly regulated industries.
- High-growth technology companies, startups or scale-ups.

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, consulting, technology, partnership, research and non-disclosure agreements.
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide practical and commercially focused legal advice.
- Identifying legal and commercial risks and developing sensible, workable solutions.
- Supporting contract management, legal operations and process improvement initiatives.
- Assisting with corporate, governance, compliance and strategic projects.
- Contributing wherever required as the needs of the business evolve.
