The Jet Co is NSW’s highest-reviewed pressure cleaning company, specialising in large-scale warehouse, industrial and commercial cleaning, as well as high-quality residential exterior cleaning across Sydney. Our residential work includes house washing, pressure cleaning, roof cleaning, window cleaning and other exterior cleaning services. We operate skilled ride-on scrubbers, sweepers and commercial pressure cleaning equipment and are looking for an experienced operator who takes pride in delivering high-quality results safely, efficiently and consistently across both residential and commercial sites.
About the Role
You will be responsible for operating commercial ride-on scrubbers and sweepers at warehouses, distribution centres, industrial facilities and car parks. The role includes both internal warehouse floor scrubbing as well as car park cleaning and internal/external sweeping, transporting equipment to site and completing jobs to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial ride-on scrubbers and sweepers
- Internal warehouse floor scrubbing
- Internal and external sweeping
- Detailed car park cleaning
- Load, secure and transport machinery using a trailer
- Conduct pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance
- Complete jobs safely and efficiently
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Communicate professionally with clients and site managers
- Follow SWMS, WHS requirements and company procedures
Requirements
- Previous commercial scrubber/sweeper operating experience (essential)
- Experience operating Tennant, Nilfisk, Hako or similar machines
- Confident reversing and towing a trailer
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
- Mechanically minded with basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit and able to work long shifts if needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Flexible to work early mornings, nights and weekends when required
- This role will also include commercial and residential pressure cleaning, experience in this is preferred but not necessary
