About the Role

As a Community Education Facilitator, you will deliver interactive workshops to children, young people in schools and adults in community settings. Relationships Australia W.A. educational services are offered both in person and online.

The work is primarily during school terms, with sessions delivered during the day, as well as regularly in school term in the evening (5.15pm-9.15pm) and very occasionally on a Saturday.

About You

You are an experienced facilitator who is confident working with diverse groups across a range of age groups. You bring solid communication skills, empathy, and professionalism to your work, and are committed to creating safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.

You are confident and passionate about delivering workshops on respectful relationships to children and young people within school settings.

You thrive in a collaborative team environment and are motivated by contributing to positive outcomes for young people, families, and the wider community.

Essential Qualifications, Position Skills and Professional Experience





· Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Education, Public Health, or a related discipline, combined with experience facilitating groups and workshops.

· Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience working within school environments, with a strong understanding of education settings and stakeholder engagement.

· Current and relevant experience delivering engaging workshops and educational programs to young people aged 11 to 17 years.

· Proven ability to facilitate and co-facilitate group programs both online (via Zoom and Microsoft Teams) and face-to-face in school settings.

· Understanding of instructional design principles, with the ability to contribute collaboratively to course development.

· Commitment to ongoing professional learning and participation in career development and group supervision opportunities throughout the year.

· Intermediate-level digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.

· A respectful, emotionally intelligent, and positive approach to teamwork with a demonstrated alignment to Relationships Australia values.

· A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle,



with the ability to travel to schools and community stakeholders to deliver workshops and promote community education services.
