The organisation is seeking a APS4 Compliance Officer / Debt Recovery Specialist to manage recovery matters, provide advice and work with stakeholders to support compliance and recovery outcomes. Level / Classification: APS4 Contract Type: Labour Hire Contract Duration: 12 Months + 1x 6 Months Location: Perth, Western Australia Indicative Rate: $50.00 - 58.00 Per hour + Super Requirements:

- Ability and willingness to Obtain Security Clearance
- Ability and willingness to Undergo Police Check.
- The successful candidate may be subject to organisational suitability assessment as a condition of performing the role.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage complex debt recovery matters through to resolution.
- Conduct and report on recovery activities in line with legislation, policy and compliance standards.
- Manage recovery processes, intelligence products, negotiations and stakeholder communications.
- Apply legislation and policy to complex matters requiring analysis and sound judgement.
- Manage relationships with debtors,



legal practitioners and internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare clear advice and reporting to support decision-making and compliance outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve recovery processes, controls and work practices.
- Work independently, make informed decisions and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in debt recovery, collections, compliance, enforcement or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to analyse complex matters, interpret legislation and exercise sound judgement.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent written skills, with experience preparing clear advice and reports.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, strengthen controls and drive better outcomes.
