About Us

All Energy Contracting (AEC) is a leading multidisciplinary construction contractor specialising in renewables and energy infrastructure projects. We deliver projects across solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), high voltage connections, substations, balance of plant and associated civil, electrical and mechanical works.

As part of the OCU Group, one of the UK’s fastest-growing utility and infrastructure businesses with over 5000 employees globally, we are continuing to build our presence across Australia and New Zealand. We welcome applications from candidates based locally in the Fraser Coast region, or from Brisbane (AEC’s Head Office), working a FIFO or DIDO 2:1 roster, Monday to Saturday (no Sundays or public holidays), 6:30am–5:00pm. Camp accommodation at Susan River Village is provided, with LAHA for those arranging their own accommodation.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead on-site construction across civil, electrical and mechanical works, keeping delivery safe, on program and on budget.
- Direct and support Supervisors and Foremen to drive daily execution.
- Manage labour, plant, subcontractors and materials to optimise productivity and sequencing.
- Monitor progress and quality, driving corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Ensure works meet approved designs, specifications and construction methodologies.
- Own site quality outcomes, from inspections through to defect close-out.
- Coordinate construction interfaces across engineering, procurement, commissioning and QA.
- Coach and develop your Supervisors, and report progress and cost-to-complete to the Project Manager.

What You’ll Bring:

- Extensive experience managing construction projects in the renewables, infrastructure or civil sectors, ideally solar.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership managing site-based supervisory teams.
- Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and protected work practices.
- Construction Induction (White) Card, First Aid Certification and an open driver’s licence.
- Valid Australian working rights and the ability to meet site medical and fitness requirements.
- A formal qualification in Building, Construction or a related discipline.

What We Offer:

- Be part of something bigger – join an international group operating across the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
- Work on industry leading projects – contribute to some of Australia and New Zealand’s largest renewable energy and power infrastructure projects.
- Learn from the best – benefit from the combined knowledge, experience and capabilities of specialist businesses across the OCU Group.
