Rise is looking for a Cook with heart to join our vibrant team at Wahroonga Social Centre in Mundaring, a group setting for Aged Clients. This is a permanent, part-time position working Thursdays (8am to 3pm) and Fridays (8am to 3.30pm) each week.

- A Typical Day On The Menu

- Flexing your creative cooking muscles to plan, prepare, and serve a variety of healthy and delicious meals (lunch + morning tea).
- Collaborating with clients to create a nutritionally balanced meal plan they’ll look forward to each week.
- Keeping track of stock, ordering supplies online and shopping (as required)
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen space

- What You Bring To The Table

- Qualifications in cooking or experience feeding large groups with solid knowledge of food safety and meal planning.
- A knack for preparing nutritious meals tailored to different dietary needs.
- Awareness of the physical, emotional, and social needs of aged clients in a group setting.
- A flexible and calm approach when routines or client needs change unexpectedly.
- HLTSS00061 Food Safety Supervisor skill set (or willingness to obtain)
