Job Description

- Provide legal advice on regulatory matters to support organisational compliance.

- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
n
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
n
- Conduct legal research to support decision-making and organisational goals.
n
- Advise on legislative and regulatory changes affecting the organisation.
n
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with legal standards.

- Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and regulatory matters, as required.

- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal and compliance issues.

The Successful Applicant

- A recognised qualification in law and admission to practise as a solicitor in Australia.
n
- Proven expertise in regulatory and compliance matters within the public sector or similar industry.
n
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
n
- Experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
n
- Ability to provide clear and practical legal advice to diverse stakeholders.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Experience in a regulatory environment is highly regarded.
