Gorilla Logistics is looking for a reliable and experienced Crane Truck Driver to join our growing operations on the Sunshine Coast.
This is an ongoing position for someone looking for consistent work and reliable hours. You will be responsible for local deliveries across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, operating a crane truck to load and unload materials safely.
The Role
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Operating a crane truck for local deliveries
- Loading and unloading materials using the truck-mounted crane
- Delivering materials to construction sites, businesses and customers
- Correctly securing loads before transport
- Completing daily pre-start and safety checks
- Following site safety requirements and delivery instructions
- Maintaining communication with the operations team
- Completing delivery paperwork and required documentation
- Looking after the truck, crane and equipment
- Providing professional service when dealing with customers and site staff
Requirements
- Current MR or HR driver's licence — HR preferred
- Previous crane truck experience preferred
- Crane/vehicle loading crane qualification or licence where required for the equipment
- Good knowledge of load restraint and protected work practices
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Clean and responsible driving history
- Able to work independently and safely without constant supervision
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM
- Minimum 8 hours per day
- Additional hours may be available depending on workload
- Consistent ongoing work available
Pay & Conditions
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
