About the role This is a phone- and email-based internal sales role focused on delivering fast, accurate and reliable service. You will manage relationships with trade customers, particularly roofers and plumbers, and become the person they contact first when they need products, pricing or support.

You will help retain existing customers, grow account opportunities and reconnect with customers who have become less active. Strong organisation, product knowledge and follow-through will be important to your success.

What you’ll do

- Answer inbound phone enquiries and provide helpful product advice.
- Serve customers at the front sales counter.
- Support builders, roofers, carpenters, plumbers and other trade customers.




- Manage inbound trade enquiries from initial contact through to order.
- Prepare accurate quotes and follow them up professionally.
- Raise and process customer orders accurately.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.
- Re-engage customers who have become less active.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to help ensure orders are prepared and delivered smoothly.
- Learn our products, systems and processes and take on more responsibility over time.

What we’re looking for

- Experience or knowledge in internal sales, trade sales, roofing, building supplies or a related industry.
- A friendly, professional approach and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service.
- Strong attention to detail when preparing quotes and entering orders.
- Explicit and confident communication by phone, email and in person.
- A willingness to learn our products, systems and ways of working.
- Motivation to grow with the business and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Pride in your work and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
