With an increasing focus on evidence-based decision-making, performance improvement, and funding optimisation, they are seeking an experienced Data Insights & Analytics Lead to drive enterprise-wide analytics capability and deliver meaningful insights that support strategic and operational outcomes.
Your new role
As the Data Insights & Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for leading the organisation's reporting, analytics, and business intelligence function. You will work closely with executive leaders, clinical teams, finance stakeholders, and operational managers to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve organisational performance and support informed decision-making.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and execution of enterprise data and analytics strategies.
- Designing and delivering reporting frameworks, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
- Driving data governance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting platforms.
- Leading SQL-based data integration, ETL, and automation initiatives using SSIS and related technologies.
- Analysing healthcare performance, activity, service delivery, and funding data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Supporting Casemix reporting, Activity-Based Funding (ABF) analysis, and healthcare performance measurement activities.
- Partnering with business leaders to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Mentoring and developing analytics professionals while fostering a strong data-driven culture.
- Ensuring the delivery of accurate, reliable, and trusted reporting solutions across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Leadership roles.
- Advanced SQL development and database management expertise.
- Strong experience with Power BI, dashboard development, data modelling, and data visualisation.
- Proven experience with SSIS, ETL processes, and enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior business and technical leaders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex analytics and reporting initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Highly regarded experience includes:
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Exposure to Casemix methodologies and Activity-Based Funding (ABF).
- Healthcare performance reporting and clinical information systems knowledge.
- Experience within large enterprise, government, or healthcare environments.
- Data governance, master data management, and enterprise analytics best practices.
