MBS is looking for a motivated Design & Drafting Technician to join our growing team in Braeside.
MBS specialises in architectural ceiling and wall systems, drawing on more than 25 years of industry experience. The company partners with architects, designers, and contractors to transform design intent into buildable, high-performance solutions for interior and exterior applications.
If you've got 2–5 years' experience in drafting, construction or commercial interiors and enjoy solving technical challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll work on a diverse range of projects, developing shop drawings, 3D models and construction documentation while collaborating with architects, builders and our internal technical team.
This is more than a drafting role. It's an opportunity to build technical expertise across premium architectural products and develop into a future Design Manager as our business continues to grow.
About You
You'll ideally have
- 2–5 years' experience in drafting, construction or commercial interiors.
- Strong AutoCAD skills.
- Experience with 3D modelling software such as Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Inventor or similar.
- A strong eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Experience with suspended ceilings, architectural fit-out or BIM is advantageous but not essential.
