About the Role

InsureBuild is currently recruiting a Desktop Supervisor to join our specialist disaster restoration brand, Amtec Disaster Recovery, based out of our Rowville office.

In this office based, technical oversight role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality, compliance, and performance of our national service partner and subcontractor network. You will review scopes, manage contractor KPIs, and ensure every job completed under the Amtec banner meets our strict technical, safety, and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Scope & Quote Review: Review complex restoration scopes, drying reports, mould/fire/water methodologies, and contractor quotes to ensure technical validity and commercial reasonableness.
- Network Performance Management: Monitor contractor KPIs including time-to-site, report turnarounds, first-time quality pass rates, and variation frequencies.
- Onboarding & Training: Onboard new national service partners, training them on Amtec reporting systems, moisture tracking, photographic evidence standards, and insurer SLAs.
- Contractor Coaching: Conduct desktop performance reviews, implement corrective action plans,



and resolve underperformance constructively.
- Internal Coordination: Work directly with Project Managers, Claims Operations, and Senior Management to ensure smooth claim lifecycles and cost control.

What We Are Looking For

- Industry Experience: Solid background in insurance restoration, disaster recovery, or insurance building (handling water, mould, fire/smoke, and make-safes).
- Technical Credibility: Strong understanding of drying principles, remediation standards, and restoration pricing to comfortably assess and challenge scopes.
- Systems & Data Literacy: Comfortable using job-management software, claims platforms, and reporting dashboards to assess contractor data.
- Communication Skills: Confident, assertive, and professional communication to hold external contractors accountable while maintaining strong commercial partnerships.
