This is an outstanding prospect for a senior nurse with proven leadership experience in a day surgery or hospital setting. You will play a key role in managing clinical operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g. NSQHS), and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day nursing and clinical operations
- Maintain and improve clinical governance and patient safety
- Lead accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance
- Support staff development, rostering, and resource allocation
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and administrative staff
About You
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Previous experience as a DON or in a senior nursing leadership role
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare accreditation and licensing (e.g. ACHS or ISO standards)
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- A collaborative, approachable, and organised professional
