The chance
We’re looking for a part-time Director of People &
- Culture - Australasia to shape and lead people strategy, workforce capability and learning initiatives across the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association.
This is a part-time leadership role with strategic influence across Australia and New Zealand.
Working across nine independent member firms, you’ll partner with senior leaders and HR teams to align people practices, strengthen capability and support a connected, future-focused network.
Reporting to the National Executive Leadership team, you’ll lead key initiatives across learning and development, leadership capability, employer brand, HR governance, engagement, talent mobility and executive reporting.
In This Role, You Will
- Build practical learning programs, leadership development initiatives and career-stage pathways that strengthen capability across the network.
- Lead the Australasian People &
- Culture strategy,
workforce planning and capability initiatives aligned to shared network priorities.
- Partner with Marketing and member firms to strengthen employer brand, graduate campaigns, early careers programs and talent attraction strategies.
- Provide practical guidance on employment risk, legislative changes, HR policies, templates and compliant people practices across jurisdictions.
- Connect and lead the Australasian HR community by sharing best practice and aligning key people initiatives across the network.
- Coordinate secondment frameworks and mobility opportunities that support development and business needs across the network.
- Lead engagement surveys, employee feedback initiatives and action planning to improve employee experience and retention.
- Provide clear workforce insights, reporting and strategic advice to support Executive decision-making.
About you You’re an experienced People &
- Culture leader who can think strategically, influence senior stakeholders and bring people together across a federated skilled services workplace.
You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business Management or a related field.
- Senior leadership experience in People &
- Culture or Human Resources, ideally within professional services, multi-entity, national or partnership-based environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering learning platforms, capability frameworks, leadership programs and professional development initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation, workforce risk, HR governance and policy development across relevant jurisdictions.
- A proven ability to influence, advise and build alignment with senior stakeholders, Managing Partners, HR leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of the opportunities and challenges that shape workforce strategy in a professional services network.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex people matters into clear, practical and actionable guidance.
- Strong change leadership capability, with the confidence to drive adoption of new initiatives across independent firms and diverse stakeholder groups.
- A collaborative, adaptable and proactive leadership style, with a focus on practical outcomes, trusted relationships and continuous improvement.
