We are seeking a caring, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to clients and assist them to live safely and independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support clients with community access, appointments and social activities.
- Encourage independence and support individual goals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow individual support plans and safety procedures.
- Complete progress notes and report any concerns or incidents.
- Maintain client dignity, privacy and qualified boundaries.
About You
- Previous experience in disability, aged care or community support is desirable.
- Caring, patient and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Relevant qualifications and NDIS Worker Screening Check where required.
- First Aid/CPR and driver's licence may be required depending on the role.
Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
