Role Snapshot

We have a participant based in Dural who requires dedicated, high-quality support to live independently and stay engaged in community life. This is a 24/7 supports role, with successful applicants receiving 30+ hours per week, across in-home and community shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings and sleepovers.

Who We're Looking For

- Female applicants only (personal care role)
- Non-smoker
- NSW driver's licence and access to a reliable sedan or van (unable to accommodate SUVs) — mandatory
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Good local knowledge of Dural and the Hills District
- Ideally reside within 30 minutes of Dural
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings and sleepovers
- At least one year's experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Working With Children Check and Police Check
- Cert III/IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience supporting participants with vision impairment and/or complex mobility needs highly regarded
- Current ABN (Australian Business Number), or willing to obtain one

About the Participant Our participant lives with retinitis pigmentosa (legally blind) and spinal issues following multiple surgeries, and requires an experienced,



attentive support worker confident with personal care and transfers.

Key Tasks

- Assist with personal care, grooming and transfers
- Support daily living tasks and household routines
- Support community access and social participation
- Provide transport to appointments and activities
- Encourage skills-building, independence and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records for data collection and report on client progress
- Use CRM software
