Nurture N Revive is looking for reliable and caring Disability Support Workers to join our team in Melbourne South-East.
The role involves a mix of Supported Independent Living (SIL), Home Care and Community Participation.
Duties may include:
- Supporting participants with everyday activities and routines
- Assistance with household tasks and meal preparation
- Community access, shopping and appointments
- Supporting recreational and social activities
- Encouraging independence and participation in the community
- Providing respectful and person-centred support
- Completing basic shift documentation
About you:
- Reliable, caring and respectful
- Positive communication skills
- Comfortable working with people with disability
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence and reliable car required
- Comfortable driving participants when required
- Previous disability support experience is preferred
