About the role

Link-Force Au is seeking an experienced Drainer to join our team on a casual basis. This position is based in Perth, WA 6000 and involves operating specialised drainage equipment and machinery on construction and civil works projects. As a Drainer, you will play a crucial role in managing water removal and drainage systems on site, ensuring safe and efficient project operations.

What you'll be doing

- Operating and maintaining drainage machinery and equipment on construction and civil engineering sites
- Setting up and monitoring drainage systems to manage water removal from excavations and work areas
- Conducting pre-start safety checks on all equipment before use
- Ensuring drainage operations comply with health and safety regulations and site requirements
- Communicating with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate drainage activities
- Maintaining accurate records of drainage operations and equipment usage
- Responding promptly to changes in site conditions and adjusting drainage systems as needed
- Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on drainage equipment

What we're looking for

- Proven experience operating drainage machinery and equipment in construction or civil works environments
- Current and valid operator's licence and relevant certifications for plant and machinery operation
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols specific to drainage operations
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and drainage specifications




- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with site teams
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining equipment in good working order
- Must have construction, subdivision, residential & commercial background
- Casual employment with full-time hours, ongoing consistent work
- Rate $60-65 per hour plus Super

- Vehicle will be provided
