Centre Director

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Centre Director who loves what they do and wants to make a real difference in the lives of children, families and educators. As Centre Director, you’ll be a key part of our centre community. You’ll lead and support a dedicated team of educators, build strong relationships with families and help create a positive, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued.

You’ll take care of the day-to-day running of the centre while working alongside your team to provide children with high-quality education, care and experiences that support their learning and development.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is approachable, caring, organised and a strong team leader — someone who can bring people together, lead by example and create a workplace where educators enjoy coming to work.

We are looking for someone who:

- Holds an approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Has previous experience in a Centre Director, Assistant Director or senior leadership role.
- Has a strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF and National Regulations.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, proactive and confident in managing day-to-day operations.
- Can inspire, mentor and develop a team.
- Builds genuine partnerships with children, families and educators.
- Is committed to child safety,



inclusion and high-quality educational outcomes.
- Brings energy, professionalism and a positive attitude to the workplace.

- Creating a secure, clean and welcoming environment.
- Observing and documenting children’s learning.
- Supporting each child’s individual interests and needs.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is warm, reliable, positive and genuinely passionate about children. You’ll ideally have a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or be currently studying towards a recognised qualification.

Most importantly, you’ll bring a caring attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine desire to make a difference.
