About the Role

Working alongside Lead Educators and teaching staff, the ELC Educator supports the daily care, supervision, and learning of children within the Centre. You will assist in implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF/QKLG), uphold National Quality Standards (NQS), build positive relationships with families, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality supervision, care, and support tailored to children’s individual needs and developmental stages.
- Assist with planning, setting up learning environments, and documenting children's progress (e.g., Storypark).
- Build warm, trusting partnerships with families and collaborate effectively with ELC colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
- Model Christian values and actively contribute to the spiritual life of the College.

Key Requirements & Attributes

- Faith & Ethos:



Active local church involvement and alignment with CalCC’s Statement of Faith and Christian ethos.
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent); valid QLD ‘Paid’ Working with Children Check (Blue Card); ACECQA-approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Skills & Experience: Experience in an Early Learning environment; strong communication, organisational, and technical skills; compassionate, team-oriented, and professional approach.
