We are looking for a reliable and motivated Earthmoving Yard Hand to join our team in the Mundijong / Byford area.

The role will primarily involve keeping our earthmoving equipment clean, maintained and ready for work. This will include pressure washing and cleaning machinery, general yard duties and minor mechanical maintenance.

Experience working around mobile plant and earthmoving equipment is preferred. There may also be opportunities to work on site operating a range of earthmoving machinery for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- Pressure washing and cleaning earthmoving machinery
- General yard duties and keeping the yard clean and organised
- Carrying out basic/minor maintenance on machinery
- Greasing and basic servicing tasks
- Checking machinery and reporting any faults or issues
- Preparing machines for jobs, transport and sale
- Assisting mechanics and operators when required
- General loading, unloading and movement of equipment around the yard
- Potentially operating various earthmoving machinery on site
- Following workplace health and safety procedures

About You We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and has a good work ethic




- Practical and mechanically minded
- Comfortable working around heavy machinery
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to get their hands dirty and take pride in their work
- Holds a current driver's licence
- Mobile plant / earthmoving experience preferred
- Previous experience operating machinery such as loaders, skid steers, excavators, graders or dozers would be an advantage
- Mechanical or diesel experience would also be highly regarded

Previous experience in the earthmoving or heavy equipment industry is highly regarded, however we are willing to consider the right person with a good attitude and willingness to learn. Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
