The Package: $1,425.79 - $1,575.46 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2026) and Award increases of 4% in 2027-28 and 4% in 2028-2029. Full-time – 38 hours per week.
The Recreation Team are seeking a qualified leader to help support the operations of our local pools across the region. Help create lasting memories for the community as they enjoy a safe, hygienic and fun pool experience.
In this role you will:
- Assist with leading a team of staff to deliver the day-to-day operations of QPRC’s Eastern Pools.
- Undertake water testing and support chemical, filtration and plant equipment operations in accordance with NSW Health requirements.
- Provide high-quality customer service, respond to general enquiries and assist patrons using the facilities.
- Supervise pool users and respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies and first aid situations.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant qualifications (outlined in the Selection Criteria of the Position Description)
and demonstrated experience in an aquatic, recreation or similar operational role.
- Is well organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- Can lead a team effectively and contribute positively to team and organisational outcomes.
