Electrical Draftsperson & Operations Coordinator

GAP Industries is looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsperson & Operations Coordinator to join our Brisbane team.

This is a hands-on technical role combining electrical drafting, project coordination, technician scheduling and job management across electrical and communications projects.

Previous drafting experience is essential.

You’ll be responsible for

- Preparing and updating electrical, lighting, power, data and communications drawings
- Producing mark-ups, layouts, schematics and as-built drawings
- Coordinating electricians, technicians, subcontractors and equipment
- Managing jobs, scheduling and documentation through Simpro
- Reviewing labour, materials and site requirements
- Monitoring job progress, deadlines and outstanding documentation
- Assisting with quotations, purchase orders, variations and project costs
- Liaising with clients, project managers, supervisors, technicians and suppliers
- Supporting project close-out and document control

What we're looking for

- Robust AutoCAD or similar drafting experience




- Experience preparing electrical and communications drawings
- Ability to read and interpret construction and electrical plans
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Experience within electrical, communications or construction environments
- Confidence coordinating field technicians and competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence

Experience with Simpro, Bluebeam, Revit, commercial electrical projects, data and communications, or estimating will be highly regarded.
