Based in our Sydney CBD team, you will be given the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of concept and detailed electrical design and documentation on a diverse range of projects, whilst taking responsibility for your projects.

As the Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will consist of:

- Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings under limited supervision;
- Produce and review designs of junior engineers in accordance with the relevant design standards and codes;




- Participate in the inclusion and coordination of the Electrical design into the MEP documentation;
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary workplace;

Your Experience Will Include

- A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering;
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the Building Services sector;

- Proficiency and/or knowledge of Electrical design of power, fire and smoke detection and lighting and a willingness to learn these services;
- A positive and proactive approach to work and to building relationships within the team and the business.

Additional Desirable Experience

- Commercial fit-out design;
- Residential Electrical design;
- Understanding of Dry fire systems and emergency lighting system design;
- Understanding of PV system design and communications;
- Participation in a collaborative and multidiscipline team.

We enjoy monthly Accrued Days Off (ADO's) and as voted by the JN Team, we work in the office Monday, Thursday and Friday with flexibility to work from home on Tuesday and Wednesday.
