About the role

Deadshort Services is seeking a skilled and reliable Electricians to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable electrical services provider in Adelaide, delivering high-quality electrical solutions to our diverse client base. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all electrical work meets safety standards, building codes, and customer expectations.

Based in Adelaide SA 5000, you will be at the heart of our operations, contributing to projects that make a real difference to our clients' homes and businesses. Ongoing training opportunities in air conditioning, solar and catering equipment for the right persons.

Key responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Conduct electrical inspections and testing to ensure compliance with Australian safety standards and building regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical drawings, and schematic diagrams
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimise downtime and extend equipment life
- Ensure work sites are safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical work

What we're looking for

- A current, unrestricted Electrical Licence recognised in South Australia
- Proven experience as a qualified service electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and Australian building codes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical plans and technical documentation
- Practical experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment




- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport for travel to job sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments and at heights when required
- A commitment to workplace health and safety and adherence to all relevant regulations
- Relevant certifications such as working at heights, confined spaces, or high-risk work licences are advantageous
