Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a stable, long-term opportunity where you can become a genuine part of an in-house maintenance team?

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join an established Mildura-based operation on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day electrical needs of the site, including breakdowns, maintenance, machine moves and smaller electrical projects. It is predominantly a standard-hours position, rather than a heavy call-out or 24-hour maintenance roster.

The successful candidate will work as part of the broader maintenance team, building strong site knowledge and becoming a trusted part of the operation.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out electrical maintenance and breakdown repairs across the site
- Supporting machine moves and relocating switchboards as production requirements change
- Completing smaller electrical works and repairs
- Working alongside an external electrical contractor on larger projects
- Providing site knowledge and continuity between internal maintenance and external contractors
- Assisting the broader maintenance team with general maintenance tasks when required
- Building your knowledge of the site's electrical systems, equipment and processes

Over time, there will be opportunities to further develop your knowledge across switchboards, light and power, VSDs and PLCs/PRCs.

About You

We are looking for someone who is technically capable but, just as importantly, is willing to become part of the wider maintenance team.

To be successful,



you will have:

- A current electrical licence and recognised trade qualification
- A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance
- A willingness to assist with broader maintenance tasks when required
- Strong reliability and a commitment to long-term employment
- The flexibility to work across a varied site environment
- The ability to work collaboratively with maintenance staff, site leadership and external contractors

Experience within an industrial, manufacturing or processing environment would be highly regarded, particularly exposure to switchboards, VSDs or PLCs, however this is not essential. The employer is open to developing the right person's site-specific knowledge on the job.
