Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Wangara, WA. The Electrician will carry out commercial electrical installations and fit-outs, including wiring, switchboards, lighting, and power systems in medical, hospitality, retail, and other commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include performing maintenance and repair work, diagnosing electrical faults, and troubleshooting issues to ensure safe and reliable operation of systems and equipment.

The role involves interpreting electrical plans and specifications, conducting safety checks and compliance testing, and completing documentation and reports as required.



The Electrician will collaborate with project managers, other trades, and clients, maintaining transparent communication and adhering to company safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles, with the ability to apply them safely in commercial environments.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including installation, wiring, switchboard work, and fit-outs for commercial premises.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, equipment, and components in business and commercial facilities.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Understanding of electrical engineering concepts relevant to system design, load calculations, and compliance with standards.
- Valid electrician trade qualification and license applicable in Western Australia.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, risk assessment, and adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with team members, other trades, and clients.
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
